WEEK OF JANUARY 21, 2024 RECAP.

This week, we thank our Community Team hosts Luckywasblue and D4rcy.incarnate for hosting their first official activities for this community.

On January 21st, Luckywasblue hosted Cartoon Sunday and streamed How To Train Your Dragon for users in LMKD to watch together and enjoy. Thank you to all of those who attended and I hope you had a good time watching! Thank you Nezha, once again, for hosting this week's stream!

On January 25th, D4rcy.incarnate hosted an activity night for members to participate in. This activity night consisted of Gartic Phone and collaborative canvas, Magma. Thank you so much to Darcy for hosting this week's activity night! To those who attended, thank you so much and I hope you had fun! I'm grateful to have been able to pop in for a little and chitchat with you all!

With the winter season here, many are celebrating those special winter holidays! Throughout my time running the community, I've noticed that LMKD is a wonderful mixing pot of many people from various backgrounds. So many of us celebrate different things because of where we come from and how we were raised and what we believe in. I love that! I love to learn about all of you and what you celebrate! Unfortunately, not everyone is as aware of what holidays are out there during the winter season. So, let's get to know each other better!

We are excited to announce our partnership with another...

The wonderful Discord server known as Megapolis LMK Society!

We are partnering with MLMKS to combine our communities for the sake of teamwork, collaboration, and to form a general sense of community between each server.

And following our recent partnership with MLMKS, we are happy to announce a project we have started together. You may have heard discussions of it on Twitter or in either community, but MLMKS and LMKD have come together to create a unique way to bring our communities together.

Today is a special day. Today we celebrate the birthday of LMKD's beloved Admin, Tobi!

Thank you all so much for sending him such sweet birthday wishes. I would love if the celebratory energy continued throughout the day! Tobi has contributed so much to LMKD, it truly would not be the same without him. Tobi has been a wonderful rock/support for me as the owner, a wonderful assistant in running this server, a dedicated member of our staff team, and consistently a huge help to LMKD as a whole. From interacting with all of you, helping moderate activity nights, being there for nearly every event, being one of our biggest most loyal and dedicated supporters, etc. There is much love and appreciation for him and his contributions to our community. Please be sure to appreciate him and his efforts of keeping our community safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone.😊🎉🎊🎂
