Apologies, my dear reader, if I come off as someone who's lost their composure but I must expunge my long-buried love for monster hunter as its resurfaced in full recently. I had gotten news of the new expansion coming soon to my beloved franchise and decided to leave my 'glorified cave' as some may call it to relish in the joys of hunting monsters. Now, my blade is wet with their blood!

To elaborate, it's so comically fun it makes me sick. Intentional combat design, beautiful worlds, a map that feels properly living and breathing even on a title originally created for the nintendo switch, I just love it! It's the sort of game I described in my former post, something living and breathing that sells you on its existence and full. It makes magic feel real! Well, realer than it already is but I doubt many of you are familiar with the arcane arts. Unfortunately, my spellcasting is... rusty, to say the least, so no one will be getting a demonstration video today.

I'm currently playing Rise but I've been debating buying Wilds since it is on its deepest discount yet, but on the other hand, I'd rather have my soul ripped out of my nose then spend 30 dollars on anything, especially not a game. All in all, it's nice to know my interests haven't vanished into the ether, I know my foes would like nothing more than for my memory to leave me, but as I fight the forces of darkness, I also fight the forces of generational neurodivergence!!!
